Winkworth Estate Agent

Winkworth needed to stand out from their competitive set. We used hyperlocal social media activity and community out-reach, to reconnect with their local clients and prospects – and gain a clear competitive advantage for them over other agents.

Challenge: Social media channels had fewer than 100 followers and a buzz count of less than 10.  It was proving impossible for their in-house teams to get any cut through via social media and they needed to gain this competitive advantage.

Insight: Home-hunters and landlords value local knowledge more than national scale. For Winkworths we identified an opportunity to connect better with locals and become more involved with their local communities.

Strategy: Hyper local social media tactics and community outreach.  We launched and managed 4 Twitter accounts, 4 Facebook accounts and 4 blogs for key local branches in Clapham, Battersea, Pimlico and Kensington. We handled all community management, developed hyperlocal content, unearthed insights into key prospects and clients and arranged local sponsorships and charitable involvement.

Results: Within months all 4 offices leapfrogged into the Zoopla top 40 most influential estate agents nationwide. Winkworth described our work as pro-active and can-do, and praised the way we “gained insights into clients and prospects and used these insights to create campaigns and social media posts that connected and gained results.”
